My dear little diary,

... I am spending my holidays in Mikulov, in a camp for weakly children from Prague; only Laco comes from Bratislava. We are a friendly bunch here, and some of us already have a nickname – Pavlis, Libris, Standis, Alis, and myself - Elis. During the day, we mostly undergo art therapy, go on trips to the surrounding countryside, or visit the local factories processing fruits, which we taste, improving our health. Sometimes we go to the swimming pool, because it's hot all the time, and the daring boys go down the water slide. In the evenings, we get more fruits, mostly plums, pears, apples, and grapes. Sometimes it seems there are too many fruits, but that is why we are here – to improve our health. Petr, our master, is all right and lets us stay long into the night (long past lights-out). We are not allowed to go to bed before we have cleared all the vitamins off the tables. The food is also very good here, mostly cooked by CROCODILE or PUSSY. We have also become friends with the local bunch, they organize various parties and so we have fun all the time. I share a room with my friend Mirka, who is an excellent dancer and could even qualify as a ballet dancer. Our camp should end with a carnival, I’m really looking forward to that. One of the boys will be dressed up as a girl called Tony, but it is a secret, I know it from Lenka who will lend him her clothes. But, my diary, swear you won't tell anyone! And then... it’s gonna be time to go home, Mum and Dad will pick me up.
