The opening of the fifth annual event was approved by the Mikulov Town Council and its current mayor MUDr. Ivo Koneš.
The Symposium was preceded with the exhibition of the MAS „Workshop“ ´98 participants in the Gallery „Stucco Hall“ inMikulov. The exhibition was staged from July 3 to July 19, 1998.

The all-day programme was closed with the theatre performance for children – the Nosáček adventures
and the evening concert of the groups Precedens and Krásné nové stroje.
The results of the MAS „Workshop“ ´98 were presented in the park and halls of the Mikulov Chateau.
