... this may be the only usable picture, taken by Alenka and featuring Šárka and myself.
As far as the text is concerned, we tired to do an interview with Standa, which unfortunately did not happen. I am not a man of words (that may be the reason why I paint), so I would say the following to the paintings. Standa showed me a book he found in the chateau library. A small book from say the 18^th century. In Latin. Die Welt wie es ist, was the German title. The World As It Is. And that’s what the interview was supposed to be about; I hope we will make it next time. Warm greetings to all friends from Mikulov. Lots of kisses, yours
